John I could refresh your memory of the pub with some pictures from my phone, but I don't think they show any of us in perfect light.

Of the whole weekend the sight of a horizon to horizon Milky Way and a cloud passing over head and wondering what it was. It was so dark the cloud was black and looked like a dust lane in the Milky Way.
Clouds are Orange where I come from.

We went to the pub?

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

It was an enjoyable weekend. I'd have even stayed if it was for 3 nights and not 2! The guys traveling from 'up North' had the right idea!

I think the location would be great for a Winter viewing. Crisp, clear skies are not a stranger to that region. Some of the darkest skies I have ever seen, I did so from Valentia, so it's a great area. The lights out policy kicks in from the first week of November till the end of February.

Just planting the seed...
