How about a night out for the Geminids on the 14th (Monday) for a few hours. I believe it peaks just after dark.

Sorry to hear your event was cancelled -but this ridiculously bad weather goes on and on. It must be nearly a month since I did any observing. But I am almost finished writing all those silly Christmas cards, and I can just say I am only starving to getting back out with my telescope doing some serious observing. Neptune and Uranus are on the menu -as well as double stars, carbon stars, star clusters and a few galaxies. Hey! There even is a comet a-coming!

Clear skies to all (eventually)

Aubrey.
