I'm interested in the subject of global expenditure on space utilisation and exploration, broken down into categories such as military, earth monitoring, civil communications, exploration, pure science. Does anyone have some ideas on the best place to find reliable stats on this?
Peter, not sure where you can get global information to be honest. Perhaps a combination of NASA and ESA would get you some way there - but then there's Russia, China, India, etc etc.
You might get country specific data - perhaps similar organisations to pparc in the UK? (particle physics and astronomy research council).
