New Herschel images - including 'first light' for SPIRE was created by BrianOHalloran
ESA have released new Herschel images and spectra from all three instruments:

Not bad for quick look images! Just wait until we finish optimising the telescope and we start doing proper observations ;-)

Amazing images Brian. As you say it looks like Herschel with SPIRE will cast new light on the universe, literally. Can't wait 'till October 19th when you give your talk in Dunsink (All are welcome to attend).
