Hi all

While out hunting for Lyrids, mostly in vain, :-( . We noticed that Saturn was rising in the east among the stars of Scorpius, I turned the camera in that direction and took a number of frames with the intent of creating a star trails image. A bright meteor happened to streak through the scene, I know John and I spotted it, not sure about Ben and Val, luckily it turned up in one of the frames.

Here's the image, I hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi Paul.

Saturn is the only planet I have not yet observed in 2015. I also saw it rise at Cosmos last Saturday night, but I was putting away the scope after a 3 hour observing session!

Aubrey.
