M104 Sombrero Galaxy was created by woodwizard
M104 Sombrero Galaxy , more exposure time is needed on this one. And a night that's has better seeing conditions.

Meade LX200GPS/UHTC @ 6.3FL
Guided Orion ED80mm
Canon 350D modified
14 - 3 min light frames @ 1600 ISO
5 - Dark frames
Converted, aligned and calibrated Images Plus
Post processed in PS-CS

Tom, for me it is very timely that you post this lovely image of the Sombrero galaxy just now -- the reason being that I spent 2 whole nights last week just looking at galaxies and this is one of my favourites. Very well done.
