I was just wondering if anyone in Ireland had split Sirius
recently, on thursday I was looking at a few double stars in Orion
and found I could split Rigel fairly easy so I had a go at Sirius
Iwasusing a 150mm F11 newt. and a zeiss 16mm ortho with a 2x barlow
giving me 206x. I allowed Sirius to drift out of the field of view
and using the drive held it there, About 25% of the time I could see
a very small dot due east of Sirius which I took to be the pup it was in the right position for the pup. any thoughts anyone.
