Got out for half an hour last night (22:50 to 23:20) near Cork city. LM was only about 3.5 with the Moon, high haze and city lights but I saw 8 perseids all brighter than magnitude -1, three of them were quiet close to the radiant and hence slower than the rest,
Anyone else get out?
Michael.

Got out twice during the night but was pretty much clouded out. Didn't spot a single meteor.
Even reports online show not much activity by many in Ireland, thanks to cloud (typical of the last 6 years in a row really.
