Hi,

A US start up called Rocket Lab have launched a satellite into orbit from New Zealand which is the shape of a disco ball - The “Humanity Star”, a three-foot-wide geodesic sphere made from carbon fibre and fitted with 65 highly reflective panels. No information on yet on orbital path or potential brightness, but it has not gone down well with the professional Astronomy community. Keep an eye on the Heavens Above page for any updates on this one.

Similar to the Russian lighthouse satellite project, however that one got nowhere in the end as it failed to deploy properly.

Looks like it's in a polar orbit. According to their website it's visible from anywhere on Earth.

Looking at their website, it is currently travelling over Australia (approx 150 deg E - long). Just need to keep an eye on the website for passes over Ireland. Could be a while.

Changed my H-A location to Melbourne and it had pass info, only mag +8.
