With the closure of the May 2014 Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the images and cast your vote on the Poll included. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - people's views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.

Star Clusters #1

Double cluster and 6 other open clusters visible in frame (M103, NGC659, NGC1027, NGC957, NGC744 and NGC654). Taken in 1997 from north county Cork, reprocessed in 2014 from a scan of the original print. 135mm f2.8 lens and unhypered kodak pro 400 film.



Star Clusters #2

Double Cluster taken using 30 x 60 seconds shots from a DSLR, stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop.



Star Clusters #3

Globular Cluster NGC6341 (M92) taken May 3rd 2013 using a 0.9m at f/16 using an Apogee AP8 camera and Paracorr X4. 150 secs exposures in B,V and R filters.

M13, taken 19th July 2013 from a stack of 11 X 30 second exposures (ISO 800) using an EOS500D + SN-10 + EQ6.
