It is with great pleasure that I get to announce that Eamonn Ansbro is the winner for May!


Globular Cluster NGC6341 (M92) taken May 3rd 2013 using a 0.9m at f/16 using an Apogee AP8 camera and Paracorr X4. 150 secs exposures in B,V and R filters.

Thanks Seanie and Stephen,

I'm looking forward to using the binos on a clear night and reading O'Meara's book when it is cloudy.
I'm really looking forward to getting back to basics in observing, having spent all my time CCD imaging in the last few years for a research degree..
I also like to thank everyone who voted.
Brendan, I have more images, mainly galaxies and nebulae. However, 99 per cent of my images in the few years, which is about 6k are all rather boring star fields.
