Unfortunately I do not have any photos to share now that you opened this thread, but I do hope someone out there had photographed it this morning for us all to see. On my way home from a gig and the sky is awash with a large, structured and very bright Noctilucent Cloud display. Vameraphone did not do it justice. A fine sight on yoyr way home!

Morning Frank,

This was between 02:45 and 03:30hrs this morning. Very bright, high elevation with lots of contrasting filaments covering an extraordinarily large amount of sky. I reckon any member of the public who saw it and not know what it was would have been royally perplexed...

I was down on the Bull island with my telescope and the Noctilucent Cloud display was unbelievable. Jupiter came up around 2.30 to the right of the clouds so all in all a great night :-)
