I've sent alot of time in that neck of the woods over the years, it is indeed pitch black down there.

Another great event, brilliantly organised. Well done to everyone involved.
And 3 excellent talks on the Saturday.
We got two clear nights. The seeing on Wednesday was a bit poor, but most people were just sitting back and watching for Perseids. Much better on the Friday night, with some great views, although no Helix nebula or NGC253 this year
All from the NIAAS contingent thoroughly enjoyed it and we are all looking forward to next year.
And 3 excellent talks on the Saturday.
