No need to apologise Roy for organising a popular event.

I echo Michael's comment ... There's no need to apologise Roy. It's fantastic see such interest in the event.

How are all the world's media going to fit into Cable's when the first close-up images of Pluto roll in? ;-)

I hope to make it to SSP but have not booked accommodation yet....
I'll probably stay in Valentia or Portmagee. However I'm wondering about the practicalities of loading up a C11 and getting back there....
Last thing I want to do is start a car at 4am with headlights and basically destroying everyones night vision and any photos!!! This would be a disaster :-)
Any ideas?

I don't think you need to worry too much about
destroying anybodies dark adapted eyesight
at after 4am.. Normally we start packing up
around 4am-4.30am.. After all Kevin will be
starting breakfast at about 7.30am(Did you get that Kev, lol)
So all is GOOOOOOD.

Cheers Roy

Hi Derek,

I'm sure it would be ok store the scope in one of the rooms at the hostel. It looks like Star Party attendees will be the only people staying at the hostel so something could possibly be sorted out re: storage.

John,

It "IS" only attendees of the SSP that will
be staying at the Lodge, So Dereks scope will be well taken
care of.. However, if it is not picked up by Sunday morning it becomes
property of the Skellig Star Party, That's the T&C's.. LOL

Cheers Roy
