Folks,
As we are now at solar maximum, would there be interest in organising solar observing sessions during the year (weather permitting or course)?
We would need to pick a location that is 1) easy to get to
2) where people feel reasonably secure.
3) has power for laptops, telescope drives etc.
4) available at the weekend and at short noticeĀ
Given the population, the obvious place to try this would be a location in Dublin.
Ideas welcome.
Michael.

I'd be interested Michael,
Would Dunsink suit as a venue? If I can think of anywhere else, I'll let you know.

Yep, that's one option Michael.
Out of curiosity, where do the IAS hold their meetings these days?

Thanks Michael.
Hmm, that location may be challenging with the trees and buildings.
As the morning time is usually best for seeing, somewhere looking out over the Irish Sea would be good. Any hotel located directly along the coastline in Dublin do you know?
