Hi Trevor

I think that bastion of truth and knowledge “The Metro” newspaper in Dublin had the same images and condensed info this morning! Amazing images indeed! I wonder if the JWST will give us even more amazing data when it is eventually launched!

Hi,
This was on the front page of a few papers today, very impressive!!, I'm not certain that the JWST will provide as visually stunning images as it is an infra-red telescope which doesn't see alot of dust, I suppose time will tell.

Ahem...

As someone who spend his days playing with IR data, I must point the good gentleman towards the following, in order to show what even a small IR telescope can reveal:

fair enough, I'm just quoting what I read in a magazine a while back.

I saw these last month when Lars Lindbergh Christansen persented them at his AI lecture. Looking at these on a large screen was simply awesome. You could palpably hear the audience gasping in awe, each time the slide changed to the next image.

I think this is some of the most impressive work I've seen from hubble (maybe with the exception of the various deep field shots). But then I'm biased, I'm a galaxy guy.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
