Moon, Venus & Jupiter was created by michaeloconnell
On getting up at 7am this morning I noticed Venus and the Moon in the sky.
Grabbing my camera, I took a few quick shots.
Here's one that's processed alot to bring out Jupiter, which I didn't even see with the naked eye!

Nice on Michael,
I just couldn't get out of bed this morning to see it, and as it happens it was clear. :?
I didnt think they'd be so far apart, starry night seemed to indicated that they'd look nearer.

Keith,
A fabulous shot, I think the surroundings and the subject are equally important in a picture like that.
You also cought Spica below and to the left of the Moon.

What was the camera and settings.

Dave, Thanks, glad you like it, it's from a nearby lake with a super east view, the surroundings add to the shot, i'm glad it came out well :D

Spica is to the left of the moon, but if you look closely enough to the left of Spica, you'll see Mars! at the 8 o'clock position.
I used a Canon Powershot A75, 4 second exposure at f3.2. Taken at 6.44am this morning :D

Cheers, Keith...

That's a MUCH better image you have Keith!
But then I guess you earned it - getting up so early and all.
Scenery makes a big difference to an image like that.
