This comet is visible tonight close to the summer triangle.  Draw a line from Vega to Altair and halfway between the pair, slightly to the right will get you into the right area.
Lemon will be mag. 6, possibly 5, easily visible in binoculars.

12P/Pons-Brooks is a one to keep an eye on going into 2024, it is predicted to mag +4 in April and it is circumpolar from Irish skies until end of February, it gets lower in March and April and heads to SH skies after that.

Thanks for the proverbial heads-up Neill. Have you managed to observe either one yet?

Clear skies,

Darren.

Hi,

No I have not seen the comets, I live in a very light polluted area, so I can only see the basics - naked eye planets, bright stars / Messier objects etc.
