This comet is getting lots of publicity around the web, but I haven't heard nor seen one thing about it in e.g. the papers (apart from the Irish Star's take on its almost-apocalyptic encounter!) and on telly. I hope it makes naked eye visibility, and soon, although the long range weather forecast is not very favourable.

It is naked eye now.
I observed it last night from a
fairly dark sky spot between Shannon & Ennis.
(having the Moon out of the way helps!)

In binos it's very obvious.

I've got my lil' ETX125 outside now
under cover hoping for a break in the clouds tonight.
I'd love to get a shot but it's not looking good at the mo.
