I trust you are all very well here on www.irishastronomy.org

My wife and I know 2 sisters who live in Dublin.
One of them is deaf and comes to our church every Sunday, that is when it's open. Right now it's not of course.
However her sister who does not attend our meetings is in St. James' Hospital with the dreaded Corona Virus in intensive care.
As both ladies are in their seventy's we are greatly concerned for their well being.

So let's keep washing our hands.
When we are outside having a walk, we must keep the 2 metre distance at all times. I know this is extremely difficult to maintain.
These are the only pieces of advice I can give.

Add some more, please, if you can think of any.

Keep well,

Aubrey.

Well said Aubrey, for those who like the science behind social distancing, I think this is a good link:

Stay safe and as Joe says - wash yer hands :-)

Many thanks for your message. I really hope that lady manages to pull through.

Take care, and clear skies.

So sad as to what is happening right now folks, remember too to wash all your clothes at 60*C.

I also take Vitamin C 500mg for my immune system , it really works well.

Sorry to hear about the plight of these 2 ladies, I do hope they will be ok.

It's getting real, stay safe and use common sense.

Keith..

Hello, fellow astronomers.

I have sad news regarding that lady I know who has had the Corona Virus. Se passed away today Easter Sunday 12th April.
The irony of it. A death on Resurrection Sunday.
She had been in an induced coma for 3 long weeks in the Intensive Care Unit on St. James' Hospital.
She is survived by her deaf sister and a few cousins.
It is terribly sad that the dead lady will not be having a Christian Funeral.
Although she will have a Christian burial.
My wife has been very busy contacting many many people today.

Hopefully this Corona Virus business will soon be all over by the time I turn 60 on 25th May 2020.
In the meantime, let's keep washing our hands and observing the wonderful celestial objects which were produced by our Great Creator.

Monday night promises to be very clear.

Kind regards from Aubrey.
