I'm finding the website Zoom Earth very useful at providing how our skies are looking but only in a live setting.
We only have to zoom in on Ireland and eventually you can see what is happening.
It's very useful at imaging fog and cloud - especially the former. It appears there is fog coming in from the Irish Sea and it gets stuck over most of county Dublin each evening after sunset at the moment.

Many thanks Aubrey... I must give that a go. Last night seemed like a good night for stargazing. Unfortunately, I could not take advantage of the clear skies.
