Patrick Moore 100

Today would have been Patrick Moore's 100th birthday. I went to one of his lectures back in the 20th century, and it was as compelling and colourful as one would expect. And answered a question of mine with as much sincerity and clarity as if I had been a published professional in the field  . A pure natural on the stage or behind the mic. Even if prone to a little exaggeration now and then... Fond memories.

I managed to get his autograph in the 1990's and shook his hand.

Unfortunately, I never got to meet the great man, but I continue to watch the episodes of 'Sky at Night' - those that he presented. I understand they were usually filmed in one take...amazing stuff!
