Site Update - 15 Jan 2004 was created by voyager
Hi Folks,

I have made a number of update to the site today.

Most importantly I have added a User Control Panel that allows you to edit all your setting, including whether or not you reciece "New Topic Notifications" in your email. The control panel can be found here: www.irishastronomy.org/community/userCP/index.php

I have also fixed the bug in the files section so everyone can now move and delete any files they created.

Lastly I have added an extra field to all users profiles that shows what club you belong to. This information comes up next to your posts. I.e. over there <---
To change your club just go to the control panel.

Bart,

Can you add my club, BLAS, to the club list now we've affliated?

I suppose the Slaneysiders also.

Hi Bart et all,

also, there are TWO links for TAS. Sean McKenna started his a few years ago ( www.iol.ie/~seanmck/tas.htm ), but in recent months has been quite busy with work commitments to keep it going. So I started one (up-to-date) here (can you update Clubs page Bart? :) ):

www.seanie-m.com/astro.htm

The Cosmos '04 programme is there, though we're still waiting on two titles from speakers. For those of you coming from afar and will be looking for accomodation, don't leave it too late! There is plenty of it in Tullamore, but if you leave it too late, the further from the area you will have to look!

Cheers,

Seanie.

You wouls have to be awkward wouldn't you! My Data Base Schema can only handle ONE website per club because clubs only have one official home page! The committee will have to decide which page they want linked here because I can only link one.

P.S. Both BLAS and Slaney Side clubs have been added now.
