Hi all from the US!

Spotted this on the BBC:

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3869339.stm

Seems it was quite serious, almost killed him! He'll also miss the August programme, but will be back in September.

Hope all are well back home!

Hi Bart.

Settling in well, no problems at all, though it is bloody warm. Hit 33 deg a few days ago, 31 today, but at least it's not humid (for the moment)! Was in DC for the 4th, 2 inches of rain fell there, cancelling a parade - just like being at home for Paddy's Day!!!!

Clear skies.

Dear Friends,

Is there a way for me to grab the RAM file at www.bbc.co.uk/science/space/realmedia/sky_at_night_jun04.ram so that I can observe the show locally and also keep the said file for my records? I was fortunate to have my eclipse mosaic shown on this particular show (WHAT AN HONOR!) and I would love to have a personal copy of the show.

I have checked the various options within the REALOne Player regarding saving the file but no such facility exists.

Thanks in advance.

Anthony.

Hi Anthony,

Yes you can download RAM files but you need some software to do it. Head on over to stream-down.cocsoft.com/index.html and download their software. You can try it free and fully-functional for 15 days.

John,

This is precisely what I need! I have tried to watch the show online, for starters, but it is very frustrating when it needs 3-4 minutes to load a 10-sec segment and to have this go on ad infinitum.

Thank you for the heads-up!

Anthony.
