Just saw on the SETI@Home website that they seem (finally) to be on the verge of releasing the new SETI@Home client, based on BOINC.
( :roll: And yes, the jokes about that name have been going on for a while )

Still seems to be in Beta-testing.......and there doesn't seem to be any dates anywhere, either on the BOINC sites or in newsgroups.......

Only 8 months or so later........

They are finally into the transition stage between the old SETI@Home, which is now referred to as "Classic" S@H , and the new BOINC version....

They will be phasing out the old version after the new one is up and running.
