I normally would comment except...from the most recent Astronomy Ireland email:

"The gas giants are on view this week with Saturn on western horizon at sunset, around 10pm. Even a small telescope will reveal its four orbiting moons, first discovered by Galileo in the 1600s. If you have a larger telescope you should be able to make out the rings surrounding the planet's disc."

Now.....I have an 8" Newtonian and live in a relatively dark area.
It's always a struggle for me to see four of the Moons around Saturn even when it's nice and high in a dark sky.

Realively easy to see the Rings even with a modest scope.... :)

As to Galileo's discoveries....Hmmm, are they mixing up some things or is my scope not as good as I thought?

Please....some clear skies soon!!!

Sounds like a typo.
Probably a mix-up with copying + pasting text re Jupiter.
Can happen us all.
