Commercial Advertising was created by Al costello
Hi All.
I would like to say, perhaps commercial advertising is a necessary evil.
However,I feel the scale of the Advertising on Ifas web is site larger than the IFas logo,
and in my opinion are very tacky to say the least.
Also the link tab to K tek is dead
Whats next Jingles and flashing Animation.
Regards.
Alan

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the IFAS logo vs ad banners: you are right, the advertising is a necessary evil. The way the banners fill the void they are placed in is to move with the width of the main content window. This will be fixed (properly) soon, as some browsers are showing onscreen overspil beyind 1200 pixels in width. When we get the code tidied up to a less-widened width, the banners will look better nested within it. As for their size, they are not much more bigger than our logo. There is no rule or etiquette concerning each, either, it's down to preference and even suitability.
IFAS has been fortunate to have (so far) two excellent contributing sponsors that help broaden the IFAS web experience with our monthly competitions, so some might say that the banner space is also adequate for their exposure too!
Regardless, thanks for your feedback, it is appreciated, and keep on with your support of IFAS!
Seanie.
