We have an enthusiastic astrophotography group within a photography group on the Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon border.
We would like others to join. There are 5 of us at present who discuss practical techniques using DSLR cameras and software. We use large telephoto lenses and tracking telescopes to carry out astro imaging at dark sites at Carrowkeel, Lough Easkey and Kingsland Observatory.
We meet every two weeks to show our latest images and discuss improvements Next meeting is 1st April at 7.30pm at the Phoenix Youth Centre
