Large sunspot was created by Fermidox

Took this pic of AR 2529 through a camcorder this morning. It's twice the area of the Earth.

Thanks Finbarr, nice capture of the Sun showing the giant Sunspot. I’ve seen detailed close-up images of this particular sunspot coming over the limb taken by Kevin Smith (Meath Astronomy Club) and Samuel Bleyen-Nielsen. Looks like a giant Sun hurricane to me, a most interesting sunspot of unusual morphology I would think.
Here’s a close up amazing image taken by Giampaolo Salvato from Italy yesterday 10th April.

I am hoping that Kevin, Samuel and our other excellent solar astronomers could post some of their images here of this particular Sunspot!
