Hi all

The weather looks like it could be promising for Friday night, therefore, I am proposing we get together and check out the Lough Dan site.
I can meet up with anyone who is going, at Roundwood village, outside the Roundwood Inn, at 7.45 and show you the way to the centre, it's about a 10 minute drive.
It all depends on the weather, of course, the final decision will be made at 6.00 tomorrow evening and I will announce on this site if there is a cancellation.

I reckon we might be on to a real winner here.
It does look like we will have reasonably clear skies for Friday night. Very little wind too.
We will have no Moon but lots of Deep Sky objects to look for.
I'm on for Andromeda.
It will be nice to have other observers to come along.
So do join Paul at Scout's Centre.

I shall still go down to Lough Dan in the car tonight, Paul.
(I can meet you in Roundwood at the set time).
But the weather people are giving no hope for clear skies on the various websites.
So I won't be bringing the scope.
It will still be good to check out the site for future occasions.
