Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

I'm afraid I won't be in a position to head down because my wife will have the car.... She's visiting her mother in Kilkenny for a few days from Sunday. Next time for sure!
Clear skies,
Darren.

It seems we might have some clear skies over the next number of nights.
That is if the meteorologists are to be believed. Lol!
Best regards from Aubrey.

Very many thanks for your kind offer, and I would be delighted to take a lift.
What time suits?
Clear skies,
Darren.

I do like to get up early on Monday morning.
So what are we now thinking?
Is Saturday night still on?
The weather websites say the skies are due to clear from 10 pm both here in Dublin and the Sugarloaf.

My wife left for Kilkenny a day early. Meaning, if the offer of lift from Michael is good for tonight I'd happily go down this evening. Of course, no pressure if that can't be done. Just letting people know I'm up for it.
Clear skies,
Darren.

Don't you live somewhere near Stillorgan?
I could give you a lift to the Sugarloaf on Saturday night.
I always come up from Clonskeagh Road and head out onto the M50 and M11.
See what you think.
Do we know of anyone else coming?
Best regards from Aubrey.

And the sky is brightening up.
There may be another shower or 2 still to come.
But it does seem good that we will have clearer skies later on.
Will there be just the 3 of us?
I have not heard from Paul.

It was very breezy. We didn't set up in the end as between the breeze and the very dark cloud approaching it wasn't worth the risk.

I would prefer to do some observing on Monday night from my own back garden.
We are supposed to have clear skies.
....and reasonably calmer winds too.
Best regards,
Aubrey.
