We ended up in St Kevin's church. There were pot holes on the road to Wicklow head that your car could get lost in :-).

It was cloudy up to about 1AM and then we got 2 hours of clear skies.

Perhaps later on, Michael, you could fill us in as to what you observed or imaged. 
Up until midnight the only object I could see was the crescent Moon through lots of cloud.

I took photos of Cygnus, Hercules and Scorpius.

Here is Cygnus.
Canon 760D, 50mm lens on an Astrotrac AT320 star tracker.
32 2 min subs, processed in Pixinsight.
