Thanks for the publicity, Al - I hope the title of this topic doesn't have people craning their heads upward thinking that Rho Cas has already blown it's top! :) Perhaps it should read "Rho Cas - Potential Supernova Candidate".

Hello all, fair play to you Paul, this star should be made more publicly known, i've been watching this star every clear night for a while now, submitting my observations to both AAVSO & VSNET, it shine sat about magnitude 4.8 at the moment, but who knows when it will blow, maybe tommorrow???
