Solarfest 2014 Saturday June 21st at Dunsink was created by michaeloconnell

Following on from the success over the last number of years, IFAS in conjunction with Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies Astronomy & Astrophysics Group www.dias.ie and Trinity College Astrophysics Research Group physics.tcd.ie/Astrophysics/ are co-hosting a one-day event in Dublin to celebrate solar astronomy. Solarfest 2014 will take place on Saturday 21st June 2014 at Dunsink Observatory, Dublin.

Further details on speakers and how to reserve a seat will be posted in due course.

First speaker confirmed.
We are delighted to have Dave Grennan speak at the event.
Dave will be giving us an introductory talk on solar spectroscopy with some practical demonstrations.
