don't know if you've seen this but a new study settles which is the more massive the milky way or M31.

Nice! And it's been settled by an Irish astronomer! Mark Wilkinson is originally from Dublin, was a postgrad at Trinity/Dunsink before moving off to the UK. And a very nice bloke to boot - I'm delighted for him!
