My general idea is the location for creation mass/energy, is the edge of the universe,on the jacket of the universe, more I claim that if Hubble (the astronomer)didn't take the view that the universe began without mass/energy ,the reason it is because he didn't take option that mass/energy could be created. If he was taking that option he would have arrived at a first point without any energy or mass just emptiness.
my opion at www.icarus5.com (only 3 pages)-there is more about this-
please remark what do you things?

Nope.
You have touched on a subject which was a great battleground of theoretical physics in the 1980s.

Alan Guth was one of the first to propose that the universe might have been a "Quantum Tunneling Event" (a Quantum Leap) base on the peculiar fact that the approximate value of alll Gravitational Energy (which is "Negative"...only attracts.) was about equal to the known Mass-Energy of the Universe.

If the two were exactly equal then there would be no "Nett" energy in the universe.

This would leave open the possibility that the whole universe just a bigger than average "Virtual Particle".Here today gone tomorrow.

Enter Stephen W. Hawking and a battle royale ensued.

Battle Still not finished:

We cannot defeat the 2nd law of Thermodynamics!

Or can we??????

Forgot to mention that there is an analogy:

The Universe has a "conserved" electrical charge =Zero.

That does not stop one from being electrocuted.

Also forgot to mention the difference in power between the Gravitational and Electromagnetic forces:

If the earth and the Sun Differed in Electric charge by so much as Ten to the power of 36.
This would happen:

Like magnets the Sun and Earth would rush towards each other so fast that we mere biolological entities would be swept into space.

I meant "One-in-Ten" to the....but you got my drift.

Avshalom,

Interesting thoughts though not entirely new. The continued expansion of the universe must require more energy but where is it coming from? Space must be created - enter the quantum nature of space - the space particle.

This is the ONLY theory that states: The creation of energy is CONSTANT therefore as the universe grows in radius we add energy and mass to the Universe.

As space is created it will fill with negative energy - dark energy - in order to maintain the balance (Thermodynamics II).
Hence space itself (the particle) is a carrier of Dark Energy (my thoughts - not proven science). This would explain the lack of mass/energy visible in the known universe. Space itself is quantum in nature and is a formula of light and dark mass/energy.

As for the "jacket" of the universe - who knows what size it can accomodate (if thats even relevant). If the universe is constantly expanding, as all observations indicate, then space is also being created, and the energy balance must be maintained. The negative energy of the space particle will increase the rate of expansion and might explain the Dark Energy phenomonon.

I'm probably talking rubbish here but I it's fun to think about these things.

Keep on thinking!
