an effect called negative refraction may have an effect on gravitational lensing.

Hi Bart,

The article indicates that it is a property of the gravitational field of rotating black holes and massive rotating stars. I wonder if it is something to do with rotating objects dragging their local frame of reference round, although I have to admit that my understanding of relativity is not profound.
