I just got my hands on a copy of the book. It looks fantastic. Shows you 100 night sky objects to see with small scopes (2-3"). It tells you how and where to find them, what EP's you should be using, what conditions to view under, what time of year to observe and has diagrams of how they will look.

Looks at first glance to be a gem of a book.

Hi

I've had it since xmas and it is brilliant, really helps us novices find stuff and gives a realistic idea of what you can see.

cheers

That's a classic alright.

Written by Brother Guy Consolmango and Dan Davis. Guy was a speaker at the Whirlpool Star Party a couple of years ago. Very nice guy. He's an astronomer for the Vatican. He spends half of the year at an observatory in Arizona and the other half at the Vatican's Observatory at the papal's summer residence south of Rome. Tough life eh :)
