Many a Sunspot to be seen today - June 16th was created by Seanie_Morris

Hi all,

I just thought I would add this post. For anyone who partakes in viewing the sun during their own observations (so I don't mean using SOHO! :P ), there is alot of sunspot activity to be clearly seen on its surface today. I lectured to a summer camp in the youth center today, praying it would be clear.
It was, and when I projected the sun for them in the yard, we counted 13 sunspots!! They were amazed!

Check out my other post on what happened today.

Cheers,

Seanie.

Thanks for the heads-up Seanie.
Took a look just now and there's several reasonably big sunspots.
Definetly well worth a look!

Thanks,

Michael
