Lunar Geology Course was created by gnason
Chuck Woods, author of The Modern Moon and Sky & Telescope columnist, is beginning a six week online course in lunar geology. The cost is $165 and registration commenced on the 10th October.
The Modern Moon is recommended reading (naturally!) but it is a great book and worth having even if you don't take the course.

There can't be a better tutor than Chuck Woods but at $165, perhaps it's a wee bit expensive. What do you think?

$165 does seem a bit steep although it could be a very interesting course.
You've also got to buy the book which is more money.
I'd have to think about it to be honest, although I would like to develop my understnanding of the Moon.
Hmmm....

Up till now, I've been far more involved in deep sky and planetary observing than lunar observing, although lately I have become interested in it. At least suburban light pollution doesn't really affect the Moon! But I don't think I'm interested deeply enough yet to spend that much money.

If only I had the time,,,,,,
Even at that I dont think I'd fork out that much for it.
