A few Solar Prominences on 8 Oct 2009 was created by JohnONeill

Hi,

A few prominences appeared today. I used the TV85 at prime focus, the first time I used that setup with 60mm H-alpha filter.

The sun is now getting noticeably lower in the sky with poorer seeing.
