Just wondering if anyone has seen this www.astrosurf.com/legault/new_moon_2010april14.html,I have always been interested in capturing young Moons but this just beats everything by Thierry Legault. I thought the Moon the could not be photographed less the 7.8 hours old on the "Danjon scale".

Quite a stunning shot exactly at New Moon when angular separation between the Moon and the Sun was only 4.55°

If I told you venus is a cresent, didnt mean to, and its isnt decernable to the naked eye.
