Hi all

Just out in the front garden observing the sun in white light, there is an amazingly complex sunspot group approaching the limb that is well worth a look, it is the largest sunspot that I have ever seen, it is clearly visible with the unaided eye, through the filter of course. There is so much detail to observe and it was only the approaching cloud that drove me indoors.

Get out and observe it, you won't be disappointed.

I have been watching it for the past few days ( clear weather here). It's the biggest spot I have seen since the Clearosil ads in the 80s.
