Cool. I never knew Sydney did that, and now more are going to follow suit in 2008. I guess the positive of Sydney, as a guinea pig, will work well for other major cities. Can you imagine if all of Irelad, not just Dublin, switched off for one hour?

Little favour.

Would anyone here be willing to look after setting up a website for Earth Hour in Ireland? Perhaps some of you with hosting that would allow you to throw up a joomla site quickly?

If you're interested drop me an email and between us and friends of the Irish environment we can come up what exactly needs to be done.
