Occultation of Zeta Tauri

This morning at 0211 IST, mag 3.0 Zeta Tauri emerged from occultation by a 75% waning moon. Checking through my records, it's actually the second brightest star I've seen to be occulted, after Aldebaran itself. 1st mag stars Spica, Antares and Regulus can also be occulted in the present epoch.

I have only observed one solitary occultation of Aldebaran back in the late 1970's. 
I was in my teens when I witnessed it with a homemade 6 inch reflector. 

However I have observed occultations of Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. 
That can't be bad!!

All 4 planets Aubrey, that's really excellent. We're a bit unlucky at the moment with the present series of Saturn occultations favouring the S Hemisphere.
