I am observing  Aristoteles and I notice there is a bright, white patch on the western side of the crater, buried in the shadows.  I am guessing it is an outcrop of rock  higher than the crater wall.  Anyone else see this?

Hi Paul,

Very many thanks for the notification. Unfortunately, I could not see the Moon from the back garden tonight, so I'm of no help. I'm keen to hear what others say though.

All the best,

Darren.

Hi Paul,

Here is Aristoteles from Rukl. Whereabouts on the crater to you think the spot was?

Michael.

Hi Michael

I saw it on the side bordering Mitchell.

I'm sure we are beginning to wonder if Paul saw a Transient Lunar Phenomenon.

It wasn't a TLP, Aubrey, it lasted too long.
