Moon, Venus... but not Mars was created by Fermidox

12th July, 11.08 IST; an almost 3 day Moon with Venus (arrowed) 5 degrees away... Mars was just 37 arc-minutes south-east of Venus but, being 100 times fainter, would have been difficult to capture even with clear skies I think. They are slightly closer together tomorrow night.

Excellent, you did very well capturing Venus is that narrow sliver of clarity!

That's a lovely picture Finbarr... Is it me or is the Moon's ashen glow there too?

Saw the 8% crescent naked eye, but needed binos to get Venus, Mars too faint in the current twilight skies as you say.
