Late Spring Sketches was created by Paul-Byrne

Hi all

Darren and I went to the Sugarloaf on the first day of June, flamin' heck, did it get cold, however, the seeing was excellent when it got as dark as it could.  I had my 10x50 binoculars and got two with this instrument.
Hope you like them.

IC 4665 Ophiuchus

A large bright cluster that is easy to locate close to beta Ophiuchui, Cebalrai.

M4 Scorpius

This must qualify as one of the easiest dep-sky objects to locate.  In the binoculars it is a large, hazy patch of light.

Hi Paul,

I really like these sketches. The M4 one looks really nice with Antares in the FOV, and IC4665 seems like a gorgeous open cluster from your rendering of it... Very well done indeed.

Clear skies,
Darren.
