Leonid Fireball, 22:20hrs was created by Seanie_Morris

Just after the TAS meeting tonight from the car park, myself, Leo Daly, and Darren Dempsey spotted a Leonid Fireball come from just under the hind leg of the Lion, and travel downwards due south (from our perspective).

It was about -3 to -4 in magnitude, bright orange, appeared as if it were 3 Saturns in size, about 20 degrees long in flight, and had a very fizzy tail that lasted a couple of seconds (glowing orange too).

Nice sight!
