Sun Pillar & Crepuscular Rays! was created by martinastro
Spotted a lovely golden coloured sun pillar this evening at 17.55 extending over 5* in height, very bright, 1/2* thick with sharp edges and a bright patch within the pillar located just north of the solar disk. This was surrounded by golden Crepuscular rays and dark cloud patches. I managed to get a snap shot from the inside window of a moving car as well as another nice crepy display earlier...
coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Corrie don't stand a chance with views like that. God I sometimes hate living in Dublin!

Lets see how you get on, as your teens begin to dwindle, when and if you go to college, swing 2 part time jobs to keep you going around your 30 hour course, finally get out of it, still do 1 full time and 1 part time job to buy a house and not live in your parents pockets, and save up for a wedding, and then when you do have a night off, manage to have it cloud free?!?!
